A friend is the one who knows all about you and still loves you.
- Elbert Hubbard
Love is friendship set on fire. - Jeremy Taylor
Friendship often ends in love; but love in friendship, never. - Charles Caleb Colton
Friendship is like money, easier made than kept. - Samuel Butler
The quote which resonated most with me was "A friend is the one who knows all about you and still loves you." These are words to live by and it's a testament to someone's true worth if they can maintain that type of loyalty and trustworthiness over time. I think that's a true testament to friendship. Another quote I liked was "Friendship often ends in love; but love in friendship, never." That really stands out because it shows the one-sidedness of our perception of love. It's supposed to be this grandiose feeling, but if you truly love someone, you wouldn't just abandon them for the next person that crosses your path. That leads me to my last quote which is "Love is friendship set on fire." This is also very profound because it's portraying the infinite and limitless nature of love as opposed to the limited type of so called "love" we've come to know.
