The chance of vaccine-preventable diseases is still quite high when a child isn't immunized according to schedule. We're fortunate to live in an age where vaccines exist at all; they have saved millions of lives and prevented countless cases of disability and illness over the years. But some people say "a vaccine never hurt anyone," which just isn't true - in fact, during the last three decades there have been more than 200 lawsuits relating to vaccine injuries (including autism).
